AllSides is a digital resource that helps identify news bias and political leaning. But becoming media literate requires more commitment than casually browsing your favorite news platforms, so we decided to gamify it.
Gamifying Media Literacy
On the AllSides app, create a personal profile where you can track the content you consume. Connect your Apple Watch for a quick way to monitor your progress: a blue ring for left-leaning news, red for right-leaning, and purple for news that’s more in the center. Compete with friends and family to see who can close all their rings the fastest and become more media literate, together.
